A Coaches Testimony
"Don’t get me wrong -- I am a competitive person.  Just like any other coach, I hate losing, I hate seeing players waste talent and I want to win every single game.  I’d love to be able to tell every opponent about Jesus after we beat them by fifteen runs."

Focus
“May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” (Galatians 6:14)

It has only been three months since everyone focused on Jesus coming as the baby in a manger. We now enter Holy Week and must never lose sight that the babe in the manger, is the Christ of the cross. We must not lose focus on who Jesus is, what he came to do, and the price that he paid for our redemption.Read More

Wired to Worship
“For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want.” (Galatians 5:17)

Baseball is a great opportunity to worship God.  Baseball players have been created and wired to worship through competition. Unfortunately, like anything else that involves our flesh and emotions, baseball can also lead ballplayers astray and focused on themselves and their own success. Eventually this leads to a lack of joy for the game, we once loved to play.  READ MORE
