Why Play FCA Baseball?

A Coaches Testimony
"Don’t get me wrong -- I am a competitive person.  Just like any other coach, I hate losing, I hate seeing players waste talent and I want to win every single game.  I’d love to be able to tell every opponent about Jesus after we beat them by fifteen runs."

You can build on yesterday’s success or put its failures behind and start over again. That’s the way life is, with a new game every day, and that’s the way baseball is.”  He was able to say and live this way – and pitch – because he believed he was redeemed.

Baseball is a great opportunity to worship God.  Baseball players have been created and wired to worship through competition. Unfortunately, like anything else that involves our flesh and emotions, baseball can also lead ballplayers astray and focused on themselves and their own success.
