100 Percent of Sales Supports FCA Baseball on March 29, "Day of Giving

This March, Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its authentic fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, asks customers to eat a sub and help FCA Baseball.

This year, the Fair Lakes location sub shop is again joining forces with NOVA/DC FCA Baseball for the company’s 7th Annual March “Month of Giving” fundraising campaign. Last year’s Month of Giving raised more than $5,000 for FCA Baseball and this year Jersey Mike’s location at Fair Lakes hopes to raise even more.

During the month of March, all are invited to come into the Jersey Mike’s restaurant location at Fair Lakes and make a donation to FCA Baseball.

The campaign will culminate in the nationwide event, “Day of Giving,” on Wednesday, March 29, when Jersey Mike’s at Fair Lakes will donate 100 percent of the day’s sales to fund NOVA/DC FCA Baseball. NOVA FCA Baseball hosted the 1st Annual Fall Classic this past weekend (October 18-20). Participating in the Tournament were 13 teams from Fairfax and Loudoun Counties all vying to become the 13u or 14u Champion.

In the 13u Championship game, the Demarini Stars Red outlasted the Demarini Stars West winning 2-1 in a hard fought competitive game.

In the 14u Division, the McLean Hitmen won an exciting game in the bottom of the 7th inning on a walk-off single to claim the 14u Championship.

Team participating in the 13u Division were:
Demarini Stars Red, Demarini Stars West, Fairfax Royals, FCA Power 13u, MVP Terps White, VBC Cadets 13u, Vikings 13u.
